A home investment company recently released a ranking report highlighting Fort Worth as the No. 12-ranked city and Dallas as the No. 13 on the list of top 100 cities for rental properties in the United States.
The ranking report by Dallas-based HomeVestors of America Inc., which is also known as the We Buy Ugly Houses company, ranks the markets throughout the United States based on the return on investment and if there’s investor demand for rental properties.
Las Vegas was slotted in the No. 1 spot due largely to jobs being lost and home prices down 45 percent since the peak in 2006. Other top rental property markets include Detroit and Tampa.
