The Tampa market ranks No. 6 out of the top 100 markets.
Tampa-St. Petersburg ranks high among major U.S. markets, based on their average return on investment for rental properties, according to a new study from HomeVestors of America Inc.
Out of 100 markets ranked in the study, Tampa ranked No. 6 with a +2.4 percent risk-return premium relative to the national average of 5.3 percent.
Bradenton-Sarasota landed at No. 11 with +2.0 percent.
The top 10 markets are:
- Las Vegas
- Detroit
- Warren, Mich.
- Orlando, Fla.
- Bakersfield, Calif.
- Tampa-St. Petersburg, Fla.
- Phoenix
- Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
- Rochester, N.Y.
- Stockton, Calif.
